Goal – release Hiraeth on Windows, in parallel on SteamOS + Linux, with a slight delay (in the initial stages) on macOS. At the same time, we will be working on full support for Steam Deck. In the next phase, the game is to be released on leading consoles.

Kickstarter Campaign
Due to the modest funds, the financially unsuccessful Kickstarter campaign, but being an incredible social success! The game’s recognition increased, also the wishlist, many Playtest videos were created by independent YouTubers
Open Steam Playtest Launches
The open Steam Playtest of ☵ HIRAETH game has begun. Hundreds of players have joined. Although the Playtest is just a test, it has much higher hardware requirements, possible bugs, and lacks the gameplay expected for the full game
Intensive work on the game is underway, preparation for Early Access
Work on the game is ongoing. Dynamic weather effects, a full player and world save / load system, a new weapons and ammo system, and the first vehicle have appeared in the game
The Indiegogo campaign has launched! (pre-launch phase)
The upcoming Early Access today requires a lot of polishing of the game hence it is necessary to support this truly independent production and to fully utilize the game’s potential.

WHEN?
☵ Hiraeth is currently in preparation for the Early Access version, which should be available at the turn of 2024 and 2025.
It’s an independent production, practically solodev. After more than two years of work, it’s almost to the end – or rather, to the beginning of the end!

You can already get a taste of the game and help in its creation by joining Steam Playtest – but remember that this is only a test version, it has many limitations, there may be bugs and Playtest has much higher requirements than the full version of the game. The teaser was made a few months ago. Since then, the game has seen a lot of new features. For example, a full save/load system, dynamic weather, a weapon system, and soon the first vehicle!
